What is the best Harrington jacket?

While there are many brands that claim to make the best Harrington Jacket we believe our British handmade coats are up there with the best. A great jacket always starts with first class materials and we have spared no expense. From the superb dry waxed cotton that offers the wearer protection from the ever changing British weather to the quality lining and corduroy from British mill Brisbane Moss. Couple that with exceptional British tailoring and the result is an outstanding jacket that will look great for all occasions.

The benefit of men’s Harrington jackets is their versatility. They work really well with jeans and trainers but also with a smart pair of trousers and a tie. It is an all rounder jacket and therefore a wardrobe staple for all men.

Should I buy a Harrington jacket?

In addition to our Harrington jacket we offer a number of great mens jackets including Field Jackets and Trench Coats. Which one you should buy depends on what you are looking for and the occasion you will wear the jacket with most of the time. Harrington’s in our opinion are a great smart casual jacket and work well with chinos or jeans. While they can be dressed up, if you thinking of something to wear over a suit then we suggest our trench coat collection. If you always carry lots of stuff around then our field jacket is a goo alternative offering six pockets in total

What is the original Harrington jacket?

The first original Harrington jacket was claimed to be made in the 1930s by the British clothing company, Baracuta. but today a number of labels including Fred Perry and Barbour make them.

Are Harrington jackets baggy?

We get asked this question a lot. Traditionally the Harrington Jacket were cut for a more classic (or baggy look). However today it is personal preference. Our jackets are cut tighter and if customers want extra room or are intending to layer up then we recommend going up a size.
