Each shirt is cut by hand and features traditional details including a box pleat in the back and a split yoke for greater movement and comfort around the shoulders. The Origins Of Oxford Fabric

The fabric that makes the Oxford Shirt was invented in the 19th century in a weaving mill in Scotland. It created a fabric where two yarns were woven into each other to create a new basket weave configuration. The result was a fabric that was durable but breathable. The shirts and tops made from the fabric were originally named after the country’s favourite elite universities and later the Oxford name prevailed as most popular on sale today.
