Quality fabric and materials inlcluding a cotton and elastane fabric
All our plain white blouses use the same quality materials to ensure a beautiful drape and finish along with a comfortable fit. We source our white cloth from one of the finest and oldest shirting mills in the world; Soktas. The cloth is made from a long staple cotton and elastane blend which is soft but also stretches in just the right places making our blouses very comfortable to wear.
In addition to the fabric we use a soft sewn in-interfacing in the collars and cuffs for a more feminine finish and ensure longevity of the blouses. Cheaper brands will often use a fusible interfacing to save money but this will degrade over time and eventually become unstuck from the fabric. The dreaded bubbles can start to appear. Further to ensure no expense is spared we use buttons from coveted Italian button maker; Maribert.
Fit and Sizing
We believe in a fitted blouse. By this we mean a nice feminine shape but not too restrictive. This is aided by the elastane in the fabric. If you prefer a more generous cut then we recommend going up one size. Our size range is from 6 up to 20.
Made in England
The difference between a bog standard white shirt off the high street and an amazing white shirt comes down to great fabric, a good fit and finally the quality of manufacturing. We have been making luxury ladies and men’s shirts now for over a decade at our Suffolk factory in England. We use traditional British shirt making techniques including single needle stitching throughout which not only leads to a superior finish, but guarantees the shirt will last wash after wash.

Looking After Your Plain White Shirt
We recommend you put the shirt through a 30 degree wash and iron on a medium heat on the inside of the shirt. Do not tumble dry and for best results hang the shirt straight out from the washing machine.
