The key difference between an Oxford shirt and regular shirt is the two button holes located on the collar which allow it to be fastened to the shirt front. It was originally developed for playing polo to stop the collar flapping around during play. Today it is a staple of men’s fashion and is perfect for both formal and casual occasions.

While we include our signature style contrast in each shirt, the Oxford shirt still have the key design features to be expected from such a shirt. This includes a box pleat in the back for extra comfort and movement. A soft collar with button holes that to fasten to buttons on the shirt front along with soft single button cuffs

Oxford Shirt cloth from Soktas

A good quality Oxford always starts with a first class 100% cotton fabric which we source from coveted shirting mill Soktas. In addition we use a traditional sewn in interfacing to offer just enough support to the collar and cuffs along with buttons from Italian button maker Maribert guaranteeing a quality finish and longevity to the shirt that will last wash after wash.

A Great Fitting Shirt

Our men oxford shirts are cut from our block which we started using over a decade ago and with only the occasional tweak since then has established itself as providing the perfect fit for British men. The shirts are neither slim fit Oxford shirt or loose, but rather a balance between the two that offers excellent shape but also allows essential movement and wear ability.

Our white button-down shirt is no ordinary white shirt. We have added our signature details in this Oxford shirt with contrast navy stripes inside the collar stand and cuffs.

Our oxford shirts are hand cut and made in England along with all our other British made clothing. This now includes trousers , ladies trench coats along with men’s boxer shorts and polo shirts. Every item is hand made by experienced British tailors and seamstresses who have a real passion for making the finest UK clothing.

Caring for your white oxford shirt

We recommend washing our Oxford shirts at 30 degrees with other white items. Do not tumble dry and iron on the inside of the fabric on medium heat. For best results hang straight out of washing machine.

What color oxford shirts should I get?

We cover the three main colours which is of course white, blue and pink. We offer both light and medium blue and a navy striped as additional options. If you love pink then we recommend our pink Oxford shirt. If not then you can’t go wrong with white or light blue. If stripes are your thing then our navy stripe is the shirt for you.
