Melford: gingham checked shirt with paisley contrast
Introduced over a year ago the checked Melford shirt has remained extremely popular. The stunning gingham check shirt blue is finished inside the collar and cuffs with a subtle white paisley print. The cloth sourced from coveted mill Sotkas is a fine check oxford shirt weave and makes a wonderful shirt that will become a wardrobe staple.
Hitcham: Navy Check Shirt
The Hitcham check long sleeve was the first check shirt we introduced to our collection and is still a popular choice among new customers. The beautiful cloth is from the Italian Mill Tessitura Monti and finished with a soft collar and cuffs. This smart but casual shirt is incredibly versatile and has proven so popular we also make boxer shorts from it and line our men’s sand and navy trench coats.

We use our own shirt block that has been perfected over years of tailoring and offers the wearer an excellent balance between slim fit and regular fit gingham offering the wearer a nice shape to the body without compromising manoeuvrability.
Checked Shirts V Striped Shirts
Men's checked shirts or Striped Shirt? We get this question asked a lot from our customers and it really comes down to personal preference. In terms of formality with a suit or tie we would recommend stripes or a very small check pattern otherwise your outfit can look too busy.Other men's shirts which are very popular in blue, white and pink is our Oxford shirt collection.
